Kinabuti - Pulse Nigeria The show opened with a male model strutting his stuff dressed in a frown and a Kinabuti ensemble which comprised of a black V-neck long sleeve shirt with an elaborate hoodie with Vlisco Ankara trimmings and with matching trousers. The general color palette for the show included a lot of dark fabric; black and grey. The hoodie infused tops made for interesting pieces, the hoodie’s had a billowy structure to them and where lined with Ankara fabric which served as an attention grabbing detail to the outfits. Kinabuti is applauded the creative use of tailored zips to make pieces stand out. The addition of gold fabric and gold sequins to the collection brightened up the Kinabuti runway as black was the predominant color seen on the runway. The theme of the show was that of futuristic, edgy, strong rock features, not just because of the strong black pieces but also leather pieces. The prevalence of black in the collection also brought back in the minds of sci-fi movie lovers, the legendary movie, The Matrix, which consisted of a lot of black leather. This differed from the Kinabuti DNA which featured a lot of afro – prints; however it was an interesting show mixed with different genres of fashion and art. The make up for the female models was a strong gothic eye and a bold red lip. Accessories were reduced to the least in attempt to let the tailored pieces speak for themselves. However Kinabuti’s new line of designer unisex pochettes featured which were designed and created and in collaboration with Ms Rossana Valentini, previous head designer to world re-nowed top designer Roberto Cavalli. The female pieces included everyday wear and stunning evening wear. The piece that commanded attention was the black full length and sequined off –shoulder gown which was slashed twice at the bust area giving an edgy feel to an otherwise simple evening dress. Hard to miss during the collection was the interesting leg wear donned by some of the models as well as creative director Caterina Bortolussi as she approached at the runway in ‘eye catching’ thigh high leather wedge boots. Caterina gave her bow, dressed in one of her designs, a black and gold number along with two male models maybe in place of Francesca Rosset. Mistakes To Avoid When Wearing A Tie

1. Too Much Accessory                                                     

The common necktie accessories are tie-clips and bars, tie pins, and tie chains. While a tie bar can be a perfect addition to your look (especially when paired with solid skinny ties), you want to keep these types of necktie jewellery sleek and elegant.
Tie pins, chains, and collar bars are no longer in fashion and should be avoided.



2. Necktie Too Short
A tie should be tied so that it ends near the middle of your belt buckle. A tie that has been tied too short will throw off the entire look. There is no excuse for it! Even for tall men, most designers offer longer length ties.

3. Poorly Tied Tie                               
These mistakes include: a tie tied too short or too long, a flimsy looking knot that does not fill the gap between the collar, or a knot that shows any part of the narrow end of the tie.
4. Wrinkled and/or Stained Neckties
The necktie is usually the focal point of your ensemble. Thus, a wrinkled or stained necktie is immediately noticeable. While ties cannot be washed or ironed (because doing so damages the inlay and drape of the tie), always untie your necktie after each wearing. Hang your ties on a tie rack or over a hanger and the fabric will straighten itself out over night. Also make sure you rotate your ties, and never wear the same tie two days in a row.
5. Choose an Appropriate Tie Width      
The tie width you choose must be proportionate to your body type, dress shirt, suit and tie knot. Yes, skinny ties are trendy, but they will look out of place if worn with a boxy cut, wide lapelled suit.
6. Choosing the Wrong Tie for a Particular Dress Code
Yes, there are indeed some dress codes and occasions that will require you to wear a particular style of tie. A perfect example here is the formal black tie dress code (requiring you to wear a self-tied black bow tie), as well as the even more formal white tie occasion (white self-tied pique bow tie).
7. Avoid Clashing Colours & Patterns           
So many men choose the wrong tie colour and/or pattern for their outfits. In terms of colour, choose a shade that compliments your shirt and suit. In doubt wear a dark navy, or charcoal suit, and a white dress shirt as any colour tie will compliment.

The collection comes across as soft, with its structures crafted in humble fabrics. A huge interconnecting quality of this collection is that it represents high fashion, essential femininity, strong & sensual sell, and classy power, which are largely displayed in all the pieces.
